Kota in Rajasthan

Kota is place where old fort, Palace, Arts, Dams and Industry are fulfil. Kota is in Rajasthan of India. Kota is called the industrial city. November and December are the best time to visit here. Kota is a new industrial area but ancient tradition are present side by side in here.

So you will be very much charmed to see the old and new combinding area of Kota but You will be eager to see the ancient fame. There are four embankments at the Chambal Valley. They are Kotadam, Gandhi Sea Dam, Rana Pratap Sagar Dam and Johor Sea Dam. Kota Dam is very near to the city. The other name of this dam is Kota Beraj old Palace, The old fort of Kota are very near to this Kota.

Museum in Kota

So this Kota is a splendid, Charming, Wonderful and attractive Area. However you wish to go again the banks of the river chambal. The large king Palace is situated in this bank. Here is Maharan’s Madho Singh museum. You will also see it. The museum opens at 11 a.m and closes 5 p.m. At Friday it is remain closed.

You will see a great lake at the middle of the Kota City. It is called the large pond. The banks of the lake, government museum is situated. You can see very old coin, Old books and verity kinds of scultures in this museum. This museum opens at 10 a.m to 4 p.m. At Friday it remains closed. For travel you will get boat in the lake. At the middle of the lake you will see a small Island. You will get more interest to travel on boat.

How to reach: You will go to Jodhpur express from kolkata’s Howrah. You will get down at Joypur. The distance of Kota to Joypur is about 246 kilometres away. So It is easy to go by bus from Joypur to Kota.
